The George Parks Highway runs 323 miles from the Glenn Highway to Fairbanks in Alaska's Interior. The highway is one of the most critical roads in Alaska. It is the main route between Anchorage and Fairbanks (Alaska's two largest metropolitan areas) and the main access route to Denali National Park and Preserve.
