Fireweed and Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska

Fireweed blooms in Brotherhood Park, with the Mendenhall Glacier flowing out of the Coast Mountains in the distance. The glacier originates on the western snowfields of the Taku Range at an elevation of 5,500 feet and flows down to 100 feet above sea level.
