Gavin Hill Trail, Sitka, Alaska

Gavan Hill Trail in the Tongass National Forest has multiple staircases, switchbacks, and log steps with a steep climb. There are great views of the surrounding area. The Gavan Hill trail was constructed in 1937 to provide forest access to recreation and hunting. Much of the boardwalk was built in the late 1990s.
