The Seward Peninsula is located on the western shores of Alaska, just below the Arctic Circle. It is a remnant of the Bering Land Bridge that connected Alaska with Siberia many years ago. Nome is the primary Alaska town on the Peninsula, with the Norton Sound to the South and the Bering Strait to the west.
