Dutch Harbor is a harbor on Amaknak Island in Unalaska, Alaska. It was the location of the WWII Battle of Dutch Harbor in June 1942. Dutch Harbor is close to some of the most prosperous fishing in the world, and its ice-free status makes it an essential International harbor along the sparsely populated Aleutian Islands and the Bering Sea.
