Snowshoe Hare

Snowshoe hares are differentiated from rabbits because their young are born without fur. In Alaska, the population of hares are intricately connected with the lynx, one of its primary predators. They have large, hairy feet to aid them when running on the snow and turn white in winter to hide from predators.
