The dramatic granite spires and ridges of the Arrigetch Peaks are part of the Brooks Range mountains in the Gates of the Arctic National Park. Arrigetch means "outstretched hand" in Inupiat, and these steep and pointed peaks provide one of the most scenic backdrops in Alaska.
