Southcentral

Southcentral Alaska begins south of the Alaska Range and extends to the Kenai Peninsula and eastward to the Canada border. It embodies significant variations in climate and environment, including tundra wetlands, mountain ranges, glaciers, rocky coastal shores, icefields, and vast river valleys like the Copper River.
