Alaska governor Bill Walker signs the Alaska Indigenous Peoples Day Bill into law on a 55 gallon drum in the native community of Utqiagvik (formerly Barrow) on Saturday June 24, 2017. Governor Walker personally invited the children to gather around him as he signed the bill which changes Columbus day to Indigenous peoples day.
