Dipnetting

Dipnetting for salmon from Alaska's rivers is a means for many residents to catch fish for their consumption. The glacially-fed mighty Copper River is a favored destination for many because it is home to the Copper River Red Salmon run, which is thought by many to be one of Alaska's best-tasting fish.
