The Copper River Delta is located in Eastern Prince William Sound and is a rich delta ecosystem that drains a large part of the Wrangell and Chugach Mountains into the Gulf of Alaska. It is home to many species of wildlife and is a critical refueling destination for migratory birds and waterfowl.
