Southwest Alaska includes the far-reaching arm of the Alaska Peninsula and the Aleutian Islands, the Kodiak and Pribilof Islands, and other Bering Sea islands. The Yukon and Kuskokwim rivers drain into the massive Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, a favored wetland for many migratory waterfowl.
