Totem Poles

The totem poles in Alaska are found primarily in Alaska's southeast region, where the Alaska Natives have carved the totems throughout their history for cultural and religious purposes. The Sitka National Historical Park, Saxman Village, and Totem Bight offer a fantastic diversity of large totems on display for the public.
