Alaska's landscape is as diverse as it is immense. The dramatic summer and winter light lend to unique and telling imagery. Rivers, rugged wilderness, vast forests, grand mountain ranges, miles of coastline, bays, fjords, tundra and taiga, and the high arctic plains make the "last frontier" a realistic description.
