The town of Ketchikan is the southeasternmost city in Alaska, located on an island in the Inside Passage. Ketchikan is frequented by cruise ship tourists and Alaska Marine Ferry travelers; known for its many Native American totem poles on display throughout town. It is Alaska's 5th most populous city, with approximately 8,000 residents.
