Prudhoe Bay is located along Alaska's Arctic coast, at the end of the James Dalton Highway, which services the area's oil fields. It is not a town but more of an industrial working camp and the starting point of the Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline. It is laden with unusual machinery built for travel on the tundra slopes.
