Delta Junction is a small town about 90 miles south of Fairbanks, situated near the confluence of the Delta and Tanana Rivers. It is also where the Alaska Highway intersects the Richardson Highway. Delta has seen periods of agriculture and farming in its recent history, along with a military presence nearby at Fort Greely.
